Notes: 

Here is some info about the Global Game Jam, which is being hosted by SAE Institute in London.

Where is it? SAE House, 297 Kingsland Road, Hackney, London E8 4DD. Some buses go by: 242, 243, 149, 67. Haggerston station is 2 mins away.

When will the college be open ? We plan to be open for the entire 48 hours.

Can I sleep over ? Yes but it might not be very comfortable (unless you bring an air mattress).

Is there a secure storage area for my stuff ? No, there isn't. Sorry about that. Obviously I can't promise anything but nothing went missing in previous years.

What facilities are available ? We have a practical area with Macs and a small number of PCs, running Visual Studio, Maya, Photoshop, etc. But please bring your own laptop if you have one.

How about food and drink ? There is a Tesco just over the road from us http://www.tesco.com/storelocator/access/details.asp?bID=5404&l=L ..and also cafes and shops up and down Kingsland Road.

How do I sign up ? Register at the Global Game Jam web site: http://globalgamejam.org/user/register Then in your profile, set your "jam site" to SAE London.

For the second time I'm going to have to back out of GGJ due to house moving. Most annoyed, but have a great jam, everyone!

Hi I am only trying my best to answer, because I am wondering the time to go too. The venue will be open all day as it is a college. I remembered earlier game jams, started at 5.00pm (that's when the theme came out), you should arrive around 4.00 - 4.30pm I guess?
